influenced by abstract painters such as Kandinsky, Malevich and Klee, as much as by the results of photodynamism, photographic abstraction or Futurism of the early 20th century. Inspired by photographers of color and texture like William Eggleston known for his way to abstract reality - whom I was lucky enough to meet in Memphis, TN.
Music is a major inspiration and practice without which this 'synesthetic' art form would not have been possible. I see music as movements of colors, I experience it as colors make you feel alive.

"Blew is a night time photographer who travels the town like a hunter in search of his prey. In his case, radiant sources of light which he transforms into coloured calligraphic artworks. These ‘light inks’ dance during his 'white nights' shifting, waving and frantically turning revealing subtle differences of light and shade.
The colour, the movement, and the depths of these blends of white are not only a result of his artistic sense and vision but emerge from the light itself as it decomposes and recomposes from the tube. The result is a disconcertingly heady mixture, a pure art form.
His photography is an art of capturing the light revealing an invisible nocturnal world linked to his ‘inner side’ (see « About the artist »). Blews white nights are peopled with choreography, traces of explosions, ballets and musical expressions of colour. They are haunted by spectres, bewitched by stars.
